The National Eisteddfod is Wales' premier festival and is held annually during the first week of August.

This is the pinnacle of Welsh cultural calendar, traveling from area to area, visiting North and South Wales alternately, provides an opportunity for communities in all parts of Wales to welcome up to 160,000 visitors over a period of eight days.

An eclectic mixture of old and new, traditional and modern, the Eisteddfod is a celebration of what Wales, its culture and language has to offer.
