Business Profile

Why is it important to have PAT Testing done? It is highly important to have PAT Testing carried out, to help ensure the electrical equipment is properly maintained, free from faults and is safe to use. PAT Testing helps reduce the risk of workplace fires and electric shock, both could be fatal.

Also, statutory UK legislation is law, therefore it must be complied with, otherwise it could lead to hefty fines, imprisonment or both. Three of the statutory UK legislations relevant to electrical maintenance are:

The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998

If you require additional information or advice, please call or email us.
